Community Transformation Initiative

When you donate your time, talents, and resources to help the organization you are investing in the local community. From the founding of Take It To The Streets the organization has believed that with the power of God we can make a difference in our community. In 2007 we began by taking an inventory of the needs plaguing our local community and we realized that there were many drug dealers who saw selling drugs as their only way of making a living. As a result we began our resume building and goal setting program, where we first formed relationships with those in the community then we showed them that there is a better way to live life. This jobs initiative was a success. In this manner, we begin all our programs with a high level of optimism that we can impact people's lives.

This can be done with your help. So no matter what classes, programs, or partnerships are initiated, the organization believes in community transformation. This transformation takes place one child at a time and one individual at a time. Transformation takes place by sharing the hope that we have, in a way that impacts lives for generations to come. Community transformation is possible because we see it happen all the time. We continue to push forward in hopeful optimism and with faith in the life changing possibilities that Jesus Christ brings. John 10:10b explains, "I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full (NIV)".
